The following videos are Brittany’s resume reel, sports and news packages, and look lives she completed during a 2014 summer internship with WBMA-TV, the leading ABC news affiliate in the Top 40 designated market area. All videography was shot by a staff photographer – with the exception of the moon shots – but she produced and edited her resume reel, news packages and look lives. The last three videos she completed during her time at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa. The football and equestrian packages were shot, produced and edited by Brittany. The final video was a feature piece shot and edited by her and fellow classmate Philip Young. Also included are sports and entertainment news scripts Brittany completed at her internship for Good Morning Alabama.

The following writing samples were completed by Brittany at the U of A, for Together Assisting People nonprofit organization and at The Reflector News and media relations on the campus of Mississippi State University. The first writing sample is a sports study she and her department adviser conducted over the course of the 2013-2014 academic year that examines the disparity of television coverage between men and women’s sports. The next sample is a summary of events at TAP’s Watch Your Mouth Symposium held at the Northzone of Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Al. The next sample is a player profile of former MSU and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cornerback Johnthan Banks that was featured in the 2012 MSU vs. Auburn media program. The final samples are articles written by Brittany during her time as sports writer for The Reflector News. In only one year with the paper (2012-2013), she received the Sports Writer of the Year. Award.

Radio News
The following writing samples and audios were completed by Brittany during her internship at National Public Radio statewide-affiliate, Alabama Public Radio. She served as a news intern producing copies and isolating soundbites for reporters and anchors. She covered various topics including business, city ordinances, infrastructure, health and many more.
